55th Prize Fair [Photo Report]

The 55th Prize Fair held its Tokyo edition on Feb. 19 at TOC Ariake, once again showcasing some of the fantastic prize set for release from July to September 2019. As one of the exhibiting companies, Banpresto brought some of their best new products to the stage with a collection of figures inspired by both new and classic franchises from Japan and beyond!

Disney properties continue to be a major inspiration with a host of adorable figures hitting Banpresto’s Q posket collection as well as a series of product lines from other manufacturers.

Other international franchises such as Harry Potter also continue to prove popular.

Leading the Japanese franchises, the One Piece crew were out in full force. Shirtless Luffy brings his trademark intensity to the podium while Sanji and Reiju turn musketeer!

Dragon Ball was also there to steal the spotlight, with Goku and co bringing their Super Saiyan strengths to make even more dynamic figures.

Don’t worry Naruto fans, your favorite ninja heroes haven’t been forgotten!

Meanwhile, adorable versions of other classic franchises including Neon Genesis Evangelion and Dr. Slump as well as the more recent My Hero Academia are also set to hit shelves in the next few months.

If you’re all figured out, you can also check out the range of badges and accessories set for release in the spring and early summer.

If you’re looking for something softer, take a look at these fluffy character plushies!

If you still need some more candidates for your figure wishlist, feast your eyes on the rest of the photos from this fantastic event in the album below!
